8th grader dating a senior
I just don't know whether to let him or not because I don't want him to screw up his senior year because of some over eager coaches.???
A lot of Varsity players have played football since they were in elementary school.

VHSCA Coach, Thank you that is where I was getting confused because I believe my son is going to hold back this year and I think that is where all of this is coming from with all of the other people saying he can't play JV this year. I have been told that anything you play in 8th grade does not effect your 4 years of Varsity Sports and then I have been told it does? Since you have a houseful of kids, I am wondering how you deal with this. “Mean Mom” Back when all of my children were small I always said that they could date once they were ready to get married. Based on my own life experiences I couldn’t see how it possibly could be a good thing. As they have grown I have realized that there is no protecting children from being hurt.
